music louder than the voices!
I was so excited to see them again in person....hadn't seen them in person since they fronted Michael W. Smith, which was amazing. My son told me that the military uses that super loud, vibrating music as a "non-lethal" weapon! Even Crowder's music tech's had the volume so high, it wasn't enjoyable. That's what ruined the show for us. We felt ill and nauseous, and finally had to leave before Shot of Poison - Tribute to Poison got to all their songs that we know and love to hear....and that was my birthday present...had tickets since July! Don't understand why the sound techs think it's better to have the instruments or accompanying music so much louder than the voices of the singers! The constant thumping in the chest and continual heavy vibrations of the music, plus the decibel level finally became unbearable and we had to leave about half-way through Shot of Poison - Tribute to Poison's time on the stage. We saw him last year at GCU and it was loud, but not as bad as this night.
